Around 3,300 Australians die each year because of pancreatic cancer. The condition is very aggresive, and the patient on average dies within 5 months from the diagnosis.

It means all the medical and mental support goes for the patient, but carers from these patients also feel the burden of their loved ones with the condition.

PanKind is a not-for profit organisation who is launching a new program for carers, which includes counselling sessions and other support services designed for the patients carers.
