New Challenges for young people on Disability Pension

The government plans to review people under 35 who are on a disability pension to find out whether they are actually fit for work or not. If they are found to be capable of working they may be moved onto a different payment scheme and begin receiving less money. However, critics of the plan argue that disabilities can be hard to assess and stress the difficulties people with disabilities can have finding employment.
