A Government forum set up for Indigenous people in remote areas will soon be available in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. Through the ‘Negotiation Table’ process, government and communities work together to address the local concerns, but Queensland’s Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Policy, John Mickel says so far Indigenous people living in Brisbane have not been given the same opportunity.
