NDIS recipients, advocates optimistic about proposed changes amid issues with employment and casualisation

Last Thursday Federal Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Stuart Robert announced that the federal government had outlined plans to improve and to deliver on the final 20% of the nationwide rollout of the scheme over the next 12-24 months.

One of the key priorities mentioned in Minister Robert’s plan is employment, where over the next three years the NDIS Participant Employment Strategy will aim to achieve its goal of having 30% of recipients in paid work by 2023.
