National Youth Week, which runs from the fifth to the thirteenth of April, was launched in Adelaide today. State Minster for Youth, Paul Caica who was at the launch, spoke to the Wire about what activities would be happening as part of the event. Also taking place in April is the 2020 Youth Summit, headed by Federal Minister for Youth, Kate Ellis, who gave her views on why a youth representation was important to the Australian government. One of the 100 delegates selected for the summit spoke to Clare Hesketh on the importance of a voice for young people in Australia.
