The Darwin Symphony Orchestra will combine with Indigenous performers from Arnhem land in a unique presentation of Yolngu culture in Darwin on Saturday August 27. The concert, Moving Images, will feature young musicians and dancers from Maningrida, Milingimbi and Galiwinku. The Wire spoke to guest conductor Simone De Haan who says the crowd is in for something special. Tickets are $20 each, available from the Darwin Entertainment Centre Box Office and Casuarina and Palmerston outlets, and at the venue from 5.30pm on Saturday.
