The National Farmers Federation (NFF) says a new report by the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists is flawed. The report released today has advised a 40 per cent reduction to water allocations of the Murray-Darling Basin. It says sustainable diversions of water are needed for the Murray to survive. But the NFF says in order to bring the rivers back to a two-thirds flow, irrigators will have to make the biggest sacrifice.
