The Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews is today fending off accusations his recent comments about African refugees have incited racial violence in Melbourne. But there’s another hot refugee topic boiling under the surface – it’s the story of a gay Pakistani man: Ali Humayun, living in the Villawood Detention Centre. Ali received a letter from the Department of Immigration on Tuesday, informing him he would soon be deported.
