In September last year, The Wire had the first Australian interview with Mordechai Vanunu, the whistleblower who blew the lid on Israel’s secret nuclear testing program. He was imprisoned for 18 years and on his release, the Israelis placed strict restrictions on him speaking to foreigners. He has broken these restrictions on several occasions and has subsequently been re-arrested and will face the charges next week. Mordechai Vanunu spoke about his disappointment and frustration at Israel’s actions.
