Today a coalition of farmers and environmental activists launched a legal challenge in the Federal Court against two controversial mining projects in country New South Wales. They believe that the Federal Environment Minister, at the time, Tony Burke was provided false and misleading information when making his decision as to whether Australia’s largest open cut mine, should go ahead.
