With over 3,200 dead and the numbers of dead and injured rising rapidly, Nepal is in urgent need of aid. The UN says millions of people have been affected, many spending a freezing night with no shelter after their homes were leveled. But getting aid is extremely difficult as many roads have been destroyed. Aid organisations say this underlines the need for aid programs that support infrastructure. And they say women are particularly vulnerable and often overlooked in aid distribution.
