Since the September 11 attacks a whole industry as developed around Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. But one of the groups who frequently encounter traumatic situations is often forgotten. More and more militery personnel are being deployed in combat roles which is leading to higher levels of PTSD. Dr Matt Friedman is Executive Director of the US Department of Veterans Affairs Centre for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. he spoke to The Wire about what affects the recent conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq are having on our soldiers.
