The Australian Government has recently made changes to it’s support framework for people trafficking victims. The changes come after a National Roundtable on people trafficking in Canberra. The majority of victims are trafficked for labour exploitation and sexual servitude. One organisation is calling for further measures, including work visas for migrant sex workers to prevent them from falling into the people trafficking trap.
