A new photo exhibition in Melbourne has just opened, based around the controversial subject of voluntary dying.

The exhibition is the work of award-winning photographer Julien Kingma, who spent the last 18 months travelling around Australia documenting people who have chosen VAD and their families, to capture their struggle in deeply personal portraits.

The exhibition is titled The Power of Choice and is running from May 20th to June 1st at the Sol Gallery in Fitzroy, Victoria.
