New Zealand’s mine disaster has been making headlines around the world, as a fourth day passes today with no word from the twenty-nine missing miners. They were trapped underground in an explosion on Friday afternoon at the Pike River coal mine, in the small town of Greymouth. The only two known survivors have been telling their stories, as reporters and camera crews arrive from all over the world. It’s raising questions about what impact this media deluge is having.
