McBride lose appeal against whistleblowing sentence

Last week wasn’t a good week for whistleblowers’ justice in Australia.

First, the ATO’s whistleblower Richard Boyle was forced to plead guilty over four criminal charges, whereas the Afghan war crimes whistleblower David McBride has lost his appeal against the severity of his sentence.

Mr McBride was sentenced to five years and eight months in prison.
