A local art exhibition is offering powerful insight into the lives of women who have experienced homelessness.

On display in Adelaide from today – the exhibition What Women Hold has been created in collaboration with Catherine House and The Art Bus, to explore complex themes of safety, survival, and resilience, with pieces like “Know My Name” highlighting the impact of domestic violence.

Art Bus co-director, Claire Harris spent the last 12 months running weekly workshops with 20 women  helping them capture their stories through a range of mixed media.
