Indigenous and non-Indigenous people alike converged at the Gladys Elphick Awards yesterday, to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in South Australia. Narrunga woman and Regional Manager for the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Team, Lenore Chantrelle, was named the winner of the 2013 Gladys Elphick Award.
