According to David Phinney from Corpwatch many men from third world countries are being tricked into the job when they take jobs in neighbouring countries or with what they think is a high profile American company. These companies, like Halliburton, subcontract the work leaving an untraceable trail of contracts that clouds their liability and leaves the workers without security or safety.
