When you think of Canberra, a few things come to mind, politics, parliament and of course Lake Burley Griffin. The lake is an icon, but it’s also under threat, according to a report done by the Comissioner of sustainability and environment in the Australian Capital Territory.

The report, commissioned by The Greens, reveals the lake is polluted, and might become unusable sooner than expected if action is not taken. With this report, a first step has been taken to solve the issue economically and environmentally.
