Indigenous Australians are often missing out on a place on kidney transplant waiting lists due to a biased health system which is structured around major cities, and non-Indigenous Australians.

The Menzies School of Health Research has released a study highlighting the life-saving surgery many are missing out on and co-author Doctor Paul Lawton spoke about some of the key findings.
