The situation in Somalia has now been declared a famine and the influx of refugees into Kenya continues to grow. The Dadaab regfugee camp in Western Kenya now holds over 400 thousand people, well over capacity, with tens of thousands more awaiting entry after journeying for days or sometimes weeks. Many are unaccompanied children and aid workers are aware of the danger that predatory child soldier recruiters will move in.
