Japan building the ‘Fortress of Solitude’ in Iraq

The death of Japanese troops in Iraq would be a political distater for Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. To stop this happening Japan is building a high-tech and super-secure fortress right there in the Iraq desert. Among the security features is advanced radar and a moat; inside you will find massage parlours and karaoke lounges. The base has been dubbed the ‘Fortress of Solitude’ after Superman’s futuristic hide-out.
