Israel has been put on notice by the United States that a two state solution is the US expectation to reach peace in the Middle East. President Obama made the comment during a meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu overnight. During the talks Netanyahu failed to clearly agree on the demand, preferring to focus on the potential nuclear threat to Israel from Iran. With this obvious rift in American Israeli relations, can this meeting be hailed a success?
