Currently, in Australian News and TV according to Media Diversity Australia’s Report ‘Who gets to tell Australian Stories 2.0?’, there is an over-representation of people of Anglo-Celtic background- with a statistic of 78%. Whilst the non-european background remain under-represented.

Alana Su-Navratil Spoke with Mariam Veiszadeh, Chief Executive Officer at Media Diversity Australia to discuss the lack of representation of people of Indigenous background.
