The World Health organisation has named Australia as one of the worst offenders for overusing and misusing antibiotics. It’s been found that ‘superbugs’ and other drug-resistant bacteria are on the rise as a result.

An online survey conducted by the National Prescription Service has found more than one in five people expect their doctor’s to prescribe antibiotics when they have a simple cough or cold.But the World Health Organisation says this statistic is too high, and can have disastrous consequences.
