If multiculturalism’s a set of ideas about diversity, interculturality is a set of skills to put these into practice. A conference was held in Adelaide, South Australia today to explore how Australia can reach cultural harmony, and particularly strengthen relationships with Asia. The findings will feed into a government policy report, but experts say understanding interculturality will benefit us on personal – not just state – levels.
