The latest ehalth figures for indigenous and Torres Strait Islander people were released today. Aboriginal Social Justice Commissioner Tom Calma says that wile there are a few gains, particularly in the number of indigenous people in professional jobs, generally indigenous people have huge ehalth problems and much shorter lifespans. He is particularly concerned by rising levels of AIDS in the indigenous population.
