A major summit in Sydney later this week is another step in the ongoing campaign to establish a national Indigenous digital television network. Acting Chief Executive of the Australian Indigenous Communications Authority Wayne Wharton says a national TV network is closer than ever, with the government keen to hear submissions on the idea. Mr Wharton says delegates will develop a business proposal for a publicly funded Indigenous broadcaster.
