Bahai is a religion that started in the 19th century in Iran which believes there is one God and there is worth in all religions, and a unity of all peoples

You would think that that would not be too problematic – but in Iran, those practicing the Bahai religion have been systematically persecuted with killings, disinformation and not even recognised as a religion.  They are prevented from practicing any burial rituals for example.

Marhvash Sabet  is 72, has had heart surgery, and has been incarcerated in an Iranian prison for 13 years simply because she is a poet– her daughter is here in Australia
