An international report released today says humans are damaging the earth at the fastest rate ever in the world’s history. It’s the first time such a global study has been done, with over one thousand experts from 95 countries involved. According to the Millennium Ecosystem Report, humans have changed natural environments more rapidly in recent years than in any other period. WWF’s Director of Conservation Dr Ray Nias says the report makes it clear that the impact of this environmental damage on human life is far-reaching, affecting everything from clean water to climate change.
