While Gen Z and Millennials make up most of the Australian electorate, current research suggests they score the lowest in civic education and are becoming increasingly disengaged with the politics.

The Wire’s Georgia Nolan spoke with Dr Intifar Chowdhury, government lecturer from Flinders University, to gain insight into younger generations’ lack of political agency and how policymakers can reverse this.
