High Court ruling will impact offshore processing system

The High Court have ruled that two Tamil’s who had their claims of asylum rejected were processed unfairly under Australian law because of our offshore processing system. The decision will mean that those being detained in places like Christmas Island can appeal their claims if rejected, just as those processed on the mainland can do.
