The heart foundation has welcomed the federal government’s new anti smoking campaign in the lead up to its national Heart Week event. The campaign is aimed at increasing awareness about the threat of heart attacks, as well as teaching people what to do when a heart attack occurs. Walter Thomas, head of biomolecular studies at the University of Queensland spoke with Dominc Geiger about the importance of heart health.
