The latest figures on mobile phone use whilst driving are encouraging. The AI technology used in NSW is super accurate and uses two camera angles to catch anyone who even touches a phone. Penalties are extremely high – 5 to 10 demerit points and around $350 are hitting people hard bringing the offending rate down to just 0.24
