Sexually transmitted diseases among young Australians have quadrupled in the last 8 years. And a third of teenagers have unprotected sex according to data from the University of Sydney. The sexual heath organisation, Marie Stopes International has responded with a campaign, handing out free condoms to teenagers during youth week. For some family advocacy groups, this is a contentious issue. They say condoms are not the answer.
