How close is too close? For millions of cyclists taking to the road for National Bike Week, one metre is just about right. Western Australia could soon be introducing legislation to protect cyclists and motorists from each other.
The Australian Green Party has a plan for Australian riders and in Western Australia they are pushing for legislation to be passed which would require an amendment the states road rules, indicating that drivers must give bike riders at least one meter of space when riding on the road.
