Government proposes plan to stop domestic violence

The federal government has launched a new plan to target female genital mutilation and forced marriages. Domestic violence has been identified as a big problem in Australia. Building on the work on the previous government, Prime Minister Tony Abbott launched the second phase of the National Plan to reduce violence against women and their children.
