Yesterday, Google was fined 1.5 Billion Euros by the EU, over abuse of market dominance with rival search engines by blocking their online search results and advertisements.

This comes as a continuation of the strong anti-competitive behavior Google has been undertaking since 2006, presumably to gain a complete takeover of the industry.

Although these unethical practices raise major concerns about the nature of multinational companies and their influence on the growth of the industry, there has been no stepping back from investors or harm to the corporation’s market value.

Google is on its way to becoming a trillion dollar company.
