This weekend say some ugly scenes outside the G20 summit in Melbourne. The Wire spoke to Maria Rodrigues, one of the organisers of the Melbourne Social Forum G20 Alternative meeting, and asked whether the violence had obscured the more important issues. Make Poverty History’s John Connor also outlined his cocnerns about a failure of progress at the G20 summit.
