Funding still needed to close the gap in access to legal aid

A recommendation by the Productivity Commission in 2014 to raise the funding for legal aid by $200 million per year has gone unanswered by governments around the country.

As a result the gaps between the represented and the un-represented continue to remain and those in the sector are concerned with the results.
