Treatment options for childhood dementia are extremely limited and research to create treatments are generally not well funded. But one South Australian has taken action into his own hands, raising $130 000.

Adelaide-based business owner Robby Lippett has achieved an incredible feat running a whopping 80 kilometres from Victor Harbor to Glenelg Jetty all in the name of childhood dementia research.

Robby initially set out to raise $80 000 but exceeded his goal by a huge $50 000, raising funds for the Flinders Childhood Research Department.
