It’s been a massive year in astronomy with the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle, Mars Rover mission and events like the recent flyby asteroid rekindling interest in the art of studying the universe.  But just what questions about the universe remain unanswered? And how can astronomy help us tackle problems like climate change?Professor Fred Watson is astronomer-in-charge of the Australian Astronomical Observatory and his new book is Star Craving Mad. He spoke to the Wire about some of the curlier questions astronomy has yet to find the answers to.
