Today, hundreds of leading economists, doctors and social science professionals gathered at the Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society conference in Melbourne, to reflect on and revise food systems worldwide.

The 63rd annual event saw speakers propose vegetable-heavy dietary plans among other solutions to those malnourished populations across the globe, solutions applicable to Indigenous communities in Australia.

But will these recommendations make it to our remote communities in Australia?
