A ‘low-level radioactive waste management’ facility is planned for near Perth and US and UK nuclear waste could be stored here as early as 2027, reveals newly obtained FOI documents.
Defence Minister Richard Marles has previously said that we won’t be accepting nuclear waste from any country.
