This week, the Albanese government will deliver its fourth Federal budget.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says this budget will give another round of “substantial” cost-of-living relief in a “responsible” way.

In Perth, a recent Closing the Gap event saw First Nations communities sharing their thoughts on the upcoming budget.

National Indigenous Radio Services’ reporter Micah Kickett spoke with Health Service Educator Josh Rivers and Aftercare Mental Health Team Lead at Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation Travis Humphries about their thoughts on this year’s budget.
