Western Australian MP Ken Wyatt has been appointed as the Assistant Health Minister to Sussan Ley. Wyatt is the first Indigenous person to be appointed to the Front Bench. With Mr. Wyatt’s appointment it raises questions of what it could mean for Indigenous health following the 2014 budget cuts which saw over 534 Million dollars cut from vital health services.
