Following the decriminalisation of abortions in Queensland, South Australia is set to join the fight with State Greens Member, Tammy Franks introducing an amendment bill to parliament.
Currently, abortion is legal in South Australia, however, a performed abortion anywhere but a registered hospital is a criminal act – strictly limiting those in rural and regional areas.
