Reconciliation, activism and Indigenous culture take centre stage at two events in different parts of the country this week. The “Two Fires Festival”, in Braidwood NSW, celebrates the legacy of Judith Wright, one of Australia’s best known poets and champion of Indigenous land rights. “Come Out 2005”, is a chance for South Australian young people to get involved in all kinds of art forms, including Indigenous storytelling and performing arts.
