As African Swine Fever threatens to cross Australian borders, experts are warning discarded food scraps could trigger the spread of the disease across the country. Campers are being urged to carefully dispose of meat and food waste to ensure feral pigs don’t eat products contaminated with the deadly disease. The warning comes after an outbreak was discovered just 650km from Australia in Timor-Leste.
